WANTED: Focus Group Participants

The Southern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, in partnership with Priori Health Consultants, is seeking at least 150 community members to participate in focus groups exploring the state of breast cancer screening and treatment in Southern Nevada. Focus group sessions will take place on January 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2011, at the Clark County Library in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We want to hear what you have to say.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and meet one of the following criteria:

1. Women age 40+ that have not had a mammogram in the past five years (or have never had a mammogram) and live in one of the following zip codes: 89030, 89031, 89032, 89084, 89086, 89106, 89108, 89115, or 89005

2. Local breast cancer survivors that were treated in Southern Nevada

3. Individuals that have lost a friend/family member to breast cancer (the breast cancer patient must have been treated in Southern Nevada)
