Thank You Astellas Pharma!

In June, we partnered with a very large but, more importantly, very generous pharmaceutical company, Astellas Pharma.  While holding their National Sales Meeting here in Las Vegas, they wanted to engage their employees in a charitable effort. 

Throughout the week, we were able to get to know the incredible people in this company as person after person approached our table to donate.  On the last day of the conference, we attended the closing ceremonies.  One of our very inspiring Survivors, Maura Bivens, who came with her family, spoke to the crowd about her battle with her outstanding strength and humor.  She brought everyone to their feet with tears in their eyes as she closed her speech vowing to continue to fight, no matter what. 

With the donations from the employees and Astellas Pharma's promise to match the funds, we were presented with a check for $50,000!!  We were, and continue to be, overwhelmed with the generosity of this outstanding company and employees.
