Diane Allison
Board Development Chair
Diane Allison was recruited to become involved with Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Southern Nevada back in 2004. With some time on her hands and a desire to get more involved with her community, she joined the Race for the Cure committee as the Registration Chair. Certainly not an easy job, but through trial and error, Diane mastered it and has never looked back. Now serving on the Board, Diane is responsible for assuring all positions are occupied, the members are properly trained and, along with the Executive Director, assures documents such as the strategic plan remain current. Diane attends numerous Komen events as well as trainings and conferences. A full-time National Recruiter for Midwestern University, Diane is able to balance work, home and volunteering with what appears to be ease and we are so grateful to have her as an integral part of the Komen family.
